Avtomatska puška
1. Sedel je v zemljanki št. 6 levo od vodovodnega rezervoarja.
a) To je bilo na kraju, ki nosi ledinsko ime Padež.
b) December je prinesel suho zimo.
c) Zmrznjeno listje je hrustalo pod podplati.
2. Z levico je držal leseno oblogo cevi na avtomatski puški.
3. Zložljivo kopito je naslonil na trebuh.
4. S prsti desne roke je napel petelin zaklepa.
5. Zaklep je potegnil naboj iz okvirja.
6. Videl je medeninast tulec in broneno zrno pred ustjem cevi.
7. Spustil je petelina in naboj je legel v cev.
a) Dobil je asociacijo na seks.
b) Bal se je smrti.
c) Ta občutek je hitro minil.
8. Odšel je v strelski jarek, ki je bil zmrznjen in nepripraven za hojo.
9. Na hitro je pogledal čez prsobran.
10. Spodaj je bila njihova fronta, zakrita z gostim drevjem.
11. Regulator strelov je naravnal na rafal.
12. Malo se je pripognil in dvignil puško nad glavo.
13. Naslonil je cev na deblo v prsobranu.
a) V bukovo skorjo je bilo vrezano: Čapljo jebe jež, joka se ko dež.
b) Grb Vojske BiH.
c) Dva gola kurca, prekrižana kot meča, nad njima pa mrtvaška glava.
14. Glava mu je bila strahotno prazna.
a) Drl se je: sveti Sava je peder! Poščijem se vam na križ!
b) Pri tem se je tresel od jeze in strahu.
c) Ustnice so mu drhtele.
d) Kot pred prvim poljubom.
15. Streljal je s kratkimi rafali.
16. V dvajsetih sekundah je izstrelil cel nabojnik.
a) Imel je suha usta in grlo.
b) Ko papirus.
17. Cev puške je bila žareča in sijoča od olja za čiščenje.

Until the war in Bosnia the prose has obtained some freedom – in its content and in topics. It is some kind of paradox that this space of freedom has even enlarged during the war. During the war and shortly after it ended more and better books of all literary kinds were written than decades before the war. The reasons for this phenomenon are still unrevealed to Bosnian critics. One of the possible reasons must be in the social realistic experience after the Second World War. After the Second World War the so-called theory of reflection has prevailed, a theory of literary glorification of the war winners, which has caused much damage to Bosnian literature. There weren’t any panegyric written about the Bosnian war and the literature hasn’t really brought any propaganda effects. They wrote – literary works. Those of course can include some patriotic extension or tragic but they all deal with humanness – with the only thing that’s left behind after misery and misfortune.
