To every article you buy in a shop are added instructions (if you live in Slovenia, you will not understand them, because Slovenian importing companies get their instructions translated by their children or senior relatives), but in education of children you do not know what to do ... Here I intentionally pass the relatives, friends (who already have their children bad educated and in spite of it they are giving their advices to you all the time), and all others, who have two minutes of time and they use them to convince you in their educational wisdom. If you are the lucky one, who was well educated by your parents, you at least have a sample, but I reccomend you: books. Books about young parents, babies ... Anyone of them you choose, you can not miss, althose they are expensive, they can not do you any harm. They could be even useful, but with their help you will not educate the satan in your child, if you do not improvise too much ... Damijan Šinigoj
Damijan Šinigoj, the writer, translator, scriptwriter, publicist and columnist was born in Novo mesto in 1964. He is a member of Slovene Writer's Association, Association of Literary Translators of Slovenia, and the head editor at editing-house Goga. He has written two novels, They Shoot the Soldiers, Don't They? in 1991 and Unfired Round in 1994. He translated numerous books, Short Trip by Ratko Cvetnić in 2000, The Witnesses by Zilhad Ključanin in 2001, Outswimming by Veselin Marković in 2003. He wrote a script for the documentary film When the War Comes in 2002. He writes for more magazines ... From the accompanying text
Šinigoj hides his naive wonder by the humor and caricaturing to relativize his all-knowing telling position, but in the other side he confesses his smallness, almost lostness in the middle of unknown galacsy - named The continuation of the species. The classical approaches to the education always appear to be incomplete and this leads him to worries and resignation. But not for long. His fantasy can not rest in peace beside his two restless sons, full of wittness and energy. Chaotic forces of the nature, which source in small human beings, have to be put in order and they have to to get a shape, to be able to survive in complex world of culture and technology ...
