 | Branko Baćović Erotic Transformation
THIRTEENTH DAY
I love our changes,
our smiles, candour, boldness,
in our mouths, nostrils.
I want to chew your insecurity.
You to bite my cynicism and indecisiveness.
Me to smell your sweat.
You to kiss my palms.
Me to drive you crazy with my lips.
To penetrate you...
with temptations.
To lift all spring veils...
from your shoulders.
To see you stripped from every
expectation...
and rage.
You to sense air on goose flesh.
Dark... wet... soft.
To absorb all my rivers of anxiety
and transform them into a lake of serenity...
before they hit your banks
and take them far away
into an impassable wood
of blame.
I want you.
Branko Baćović
Since childhood I’ve been surrounded by thoughts about life after death, and what it would be like if nothing exists. I’ve been asking myself where the end of the universe is and why we exist at all. Sometimes I couldn’t sleep … and even today sometimes these thoughts start to dance inside me, mixed with new questions and thoughts. When they start to boil, they flow out and manifest themselves in words, poems, pictures, design, acting, music … all of which capture my personal changes or transformation. As the result of a never-ending cycle of transforming negative approaches into a positive reality, and with the support of people around me, in the year 2000 the constantly evolving multilingual (Serbian
original — translated into Slovenian, English, German, Dutch) Transformation art project was born. I hope that through my project, every one of you will find some thoughts or images which inspire you to search for a new inexhaustible fortune, hidden deep inside each one of us. From the accompanying text
The photos in Erotic transformation are the scenery, the poems their background. It is not necessary to emphasize how rarely a viewer has an opportunity to look behind the scenes. The book in your hands gives you just that – both.
