Ognjen Spahić is a Montenegrin writer, born in Podgorica in 1977. He has published several collections of short stories (All That, 2001; Winter Search, 2007; Head Full of Joy 2014) and the novel Hansen's Children (2004), which won him the Meša Selimović prize in 2005. He won the European Literature Prize for the collection of short stories Head Full of Joy (translated into Slovenian in 2017, Goga).
He will be the guest at Goga's writers residency programme in May. The book and the author's stay in Slovenia were co-financed by the Creative Europe EU programme.
