Urša Majcen

Urša Majcen (born 1998) is a graduate dramaturg, visual artist, performer, poet, and playwright. She is a member of the REAKTOR collective, and her works have been adapted for stage and screen on several occasions. She also publishes academic and professional articles.

Among her achievements are the University Prešeren Award and the Academy Prešeren Award, as well as a nomination for the Slavko Grum Award.

She is currently completing master’s degrees in screenwriting and in dramaturgy and performing arts at the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television (AGRFT) in Ljubljana, while also working on her next poetry collection.

Following her debut poetry collection *ekosistem tišine* (*Ecosystem of Silence*) and the dramatic and screenwriting diptych *Zgodba o bakrenem kralju* (*The Tale of the Copper King*), *Exercises with a Fish* is her third independently published book.
